Stabilization
Stabilization is the first step in treatment at Galloway Recovery. It gets you or your loved one medically steady before deeper work begins. Our team monitors withdrawal, manages symptoms, and keeps you safe. Once the body settles, therapy and planning start. Stabilization anchors every treatment plan we build.
How Stabilization Works in Treatment
Stabilization is the first step when someone arrives at Galloway Recovery in active crisis. A clinician meets with you or your loved one, checks physical and mental health, and manages withdrawal or acute symptoms with medical support. The goal is simple: get the body and mind steady enough for real treatment to begin.
This phase helps with cravings, sleep, mood swings, and safety. Licensed clinicians build stabilization into the full treatment plan. As symptoms settle and the client gains ground, they adjust medications and support. Stabilization ends when the next stage of care can start.
